Location: The
main office for the Southeastern Division of the Cancer Society is located
in Asheville. Programs and activities are organized here for several
southeastern counties, including Jackson County.

Agency description:
The American Cancer Society assists cancer
patients with support, empathy, and understanding. The Cancer Society also
sponsors self help programs including: Relay for Life, Reach to Recovery,
voluntary fund raising, I Can Cope, Cancermont, Fresh Start, and Look Good
Feel Better. There is also a loan closet for hospital beds, wigs,
etc.
