Location: The Chamber of Commerce from Highway 23/74, take exit 85 and follow the blue signs to Visitor Information signs.  From Highway 107, drive toward Sylva and turn right onto Grindstaff Cove Road, the Chamber of Commerce is on the left. 

Agency description: The Chamber provides visitor information and directions, prospective industrial information, prospective business information, newcomer and relocation services, general information, maps, lists of services and real estate information. The Chamber works toward the betterment of the community and will endeavor to improve the economic, civic, environment, cultural, industrial and educational interest of the area. Volunteers will share office duties, which are split between the Chamber and TTA, include greeting and assisting visitors and answering questions; secretarial duties include copying, filing, and performing computer work, such as data entry and word processing. 

Training required: The Chamber requires a brief orientation about office resources and procedures. 

Time commitment: Varies according to the individual. 

Skills, experiences, and special requirements: Volunteers need good communication skills.
