Website: http://www.wphf.org/wellness/crosbycenter.html Agency description: A collaborative, nonprofit organization, the Crosby Center houses seventeen agencies and organizations. It provides direct, human services in the areas of personal and family crisis intervention, health, and education. Volunteers may assist with grounds beautification and clerical tasks; others may help in the main reception area. Training required: Staff members provide an orientation to the mission of the Crosby Center and its facilities; volunteers will also receive training for the telephone system and office machines. Time commitment: Any donated time will be appreciated. Skills, experiences, and special requirements: Volunteer should have good administrative, social, and communication skills and a desire to help others. |
